Mon, 7 Dec 2009: Final Email

Dear whoever cares,

As many of you know, this will be my last email to you from Phoenix. Well, as a missionary at least. Don't be surprised if I start making plans to move to Arizona. . . As much as I hate it here, I love this place. Kinda like Vegas.

Kind of a lot going on this week--our mission Christmas party is tomorrow--we're doing a musical number. Then we go to the temple for a session, and afterwards we get to walk around and look at the Christmas lights. And after that we're going to some awesome member's house to burn cds. . . (The hermanas need to copy my awesome MoTab cds. . . Lol.) Tomorrow's going to be a great day.

And we have a baptism on Saturday--Leslie. Yesterday he went around inviting everyone in church to come to his baptism. He's a real sweetheart. And he's so excited.

And we went to Clift's wedding. It was beautiful! Really well put-together. And cold.

It's raining outside right now, it's wonderful. I love the rain.

Otherwise, I'm just trying to get things together. I hope you all missed me, and that someone will want to hang out with me.

Love you,
Hna. Crowley

Tue, 1 Dec 2009: Second to last email . . .

Hey guys, once more from Phoenix. . .

Thanksgiving was good--we had two thanksgivings. It rocked. One with English Bishop Perry and his family, and then the other with Hna. Sanchez for Spanish. It was good, and I literally ate so much I thought it was going to come back out.

Last Saturday, we had another baptism. Justin finally made it. It was pretty awesome. I gotta say, this was a baptism I really felt attatched to--considering I was there to find him, and for the whole process. We had quite the connection, Justin and I. We just kind of had the same way of seeing things spiritually. It was pretty cool working with him.

Then I spoke in the Moon Valley ward on Sunday--I spoke about thanks. I guess it turned out pretty well, I don't really know what I said. People told me it was good though. I'll just trust them. Leaving the Moon Valley ward will be hard--I have to say, I really love this ward. Don't tell anybody, but I think if I were to move back to Arizona, I would live in this ward.

Anyway, we have a wedding to go to this weekend--for those of you who were paying attention a few months ago, it's Clifton. He's our recent convert marrying his member girlfriend. They are ridiculously cute together.

Anyway, I'm going to go now, do something more important like sleep or something. I'll be seeing you soon anyway, right?

By the way, for those who want to know--I come home December 15th, and I'll be released at 8:30pm. I don't know yet if I'll be speaking though, you'll have to ask my mom. . . Hey mom, am I speaking at church?

Ok, that's it. Peace out, and merry Christmas. Hope your Thanksgiving was awesome. Remember to be grateful to the One who gives you life.

Love,
Hna. Crowley
